This is the ultimate post of Book reviews and recommendations of 2022!





Can you believe the year is ending already? It feels like just a while ago I created this blog (or maybe its because I keep neglecting it for spatial periods) Its completed two years on this neverending portal "Internet" and I am beyond grateful for the oppurtunities and interactions I've made with both my books and readers! 2022 was really "Back to normal" Phase of recover from 2020 and I'm proud to say the healing process is going smooth.


In this post I am compiling the ultimate Book reviews and recomendations of the year along with the 20 top books of 2022 (according to me)


You might have heard a few of these titles before but most of these books are one you wont nessesarily find trending on tiktok or bookstagram but are definitely worthwhile! I hope you find some new books for your 2023 tbr list (as if there isnt enough already?!) and I'll see you next year with the same post!


Top 3 Fantasy book reviews:


1) I recently read 'The Name of the Wind' by Patrick Rothfuss and I was absolutely blown away! The story follows the life of Kvothe, a young adventurer and wizard whose journey is filled with thrilling moments, heart-wrenching obstacles, and dazzling reveals. The writing style is beautiful, the characters are captivating, and the world Rothfuss creates is truly unique. What makes this book stand out is its incredible attention to detail and its deep complexity - every scene and character has meaning and purpose. I highly recommend this book for fantasy fans looking for an epic read!


2) 'The Way of Kings' by Brandon Sanderson is an incredible work of fantasy fiction. This book follows Kaladin, a young man who finds himself in the midst of a brutal war between two powerful nations. The story is full of intense action and suspense, but it also has a heart-warming core. The characters are rich and full of depth, and the worldbuilding is absolutely mesmerizing. This book is perfect for those who like their fantasy novels to be full of emotion and intrigue.


3) 'The Lies of Locke Lamora' by Scott Lynch is an absolute masterpiece of fantasy fiction. This story follows Locke Lamora, a thief and con artist who finds himself in the middle of a treacherous plot in the city of Camorr. I recently read the romance novel "The Notebook" by Nicholas Sparks, and I found it to be a truly moving and beautiful story. The story follows the journey of two young lovers, Noah and Allie, as they struggle to keep their love alive despite all odds. The story is filled with heartache and joy, and it had me rooting for the couple all the way through. The characters are well-developed and the story contains plenty of twists and turns to keep the reader engaged. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for an emotionally-packed love story.


The romance novel "Me Before You" by Jojo Moyes is definitely worth a read. This book follows the story of Louisa, a young woman who takes on the role of caretaker to a wealthy and handsome quadriplegic man. Through their experiences together, they both learn valuable lessons about life, love and taking chances. This novel is filled with emotional moments that will have you rooting for the two characters until the very end.


"The Time Traveler's Wife" by Audrey Niffenegger is such a captivating read. This book follows the story of Henry and Clare, two passionate lovers who are separated by a physical anomaly that causes Henry to randomly travel through time. Despite all the obstacles they face, their love for each other never wavers. This book is a roller coaster of emotions and will keep readers on the edge of their seats until the very end. The Girl From The Train by Irma Joubert: This is a captivating historical fiction novel that follows the story of a young girl, Gretl, who is taken in by a Jewish family in Poland during WWII. The story follows Gretl’s journey and the struggles she faces as she navigates the dangers of wartime. The author does an excellent job of capturing the emotions of the characters and the atmosphere of the time period. 'Divergent' by Veronica Roth. The story follows Tris Prior, a young woman living in a dystopian society where people are divided into five factions based on their personality traits. The story was fast-paced and thrilling, and I was constantly turning the pages to see what would happen next. Roth's writing was great, and I was really impressed with how she was able to create a believable world and the characters were so relatable. I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a great young adult read.


Top 3 Literature book reviews


I just finished reading Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice and I am in awe of this classic masterpiece. The story follows the Bennet family, consisting of five daughters, as they navigate the tricky world of marriage and class. Austen's writing is clever and witty, and her characters are endearing and complex. The plot is full of surprises and keeps you gripped until the very end. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for an enjoyable and thought-provoking read.


A while ago I read The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger and it is an absolute classic. The novel follows Holden Caulfield, a troubled teenage boy, as he navigates his way through New York City after being expelled from boarding school. Salinger's writing is captivating and Holden's inner struggle is palpable. The book is full of insight and is an honest look at teenage life in the 1950s. I just finished reading To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee last month and it was an absolute pleasure.
